Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia took part in a roundtable meeting held by the Government of the Indian state of Punjab with the Ambassadors of the CIS countries

H.E. Vahagn Afyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia took part in a roundtable meeting held by the Government of the Indian state of Punjab with the Ambassadors of the CIS countries, during which the possibility of establishing decentralized cooperation with the regions of the Republic of Armenia was discussed.

Ambassador Afyan highlighted the expediency of establishing partnerships in areas characteristic to the state and possessing mutual potential, such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, information technologies, and renewable energy, as well as promoting people-to-people ties through organising cultural festivals and expanding university cooperation. It was also proposed to consider organising business forums, joint exhibitions, and reciprocal visits between business communities.
